Key Info:

• Lessons are offered at our space in private classrooms

• We have five teaching rooms:

  • Classroom 1- Green Room-- Walter Miller upright piano, room is about 10 x 10 and nicely furnished​

  • Classroom 2- Blue Room-- Yamaha upright, room is about 10 x 10 and nicely furnished

  • Classroom 3- Purple Room-- Samick 6' Grand, only available on Saturday mornings and Sundays between 3-5 p.m.

  • Classroom 4- Music Therapy/Band room-- very large room suitable for small group classes.  Has a drum set, upright piano, electric piano, percussion instruments for kids, ukeleles and kids guitars.  This room is about 10 x 20 and has a small stage

  • Classroom 5-- Main Room-- 1500 s.f. with 20 foot ceilings, equipped with a 6'7" Yamaha performance grand that is tuned every 3 months.  Room for a dance class, theater class, book club or meeting.  We have a 98 inch tv in this room that is on wheels and movable.  Three possible performance configurations. 

• Equipment is provided with us and we'll bill your families.

• Each student at Almost Famous pays a $45 per year registration fee that helps us maintain our performance venue. 

• All of our positions are contract-based, for self-employed and highly motivated teachers.  We prefer our teachers have Masters degrees at minimum and 7-10 years of teaching experience.  You'll do well if you are independent and value flexibility in your work.  You manage your own schedule and we'll market you as a provider of services utilizing our 20 year history of providing high quality lessons and programs in Kirkland to thousands of students and their families. 

• We typically offer a 70/30 split and you set your own pricing.  

• Our teachers have extremely high levels of professionalism and experience.  We proudly maintain a very high level of teaching ability to maximize the success of our students.
